Jennifer Coolidge recounts ‘awkward’ sexual encounter with ‘young’ man
Jennifer Coolidge recalled an “awkward” sexual encounter with a much younger man after playing Stifler’s mom in the 1999 comedy American Pie.
During an interview with Ariana Grande for Entertainment Weekly, the 61-year-old actress described how her sex life improved after taking on the role of famous “MILF” actress Jeanine Stifler.
“It kind of opened the world up to a much wider group of handsome men — and younger men,” the “White Lotus” star told the 29-year-old singer.
She continued, “This guy was particularly young—he was legal, of course, it was all very legal—but he was funny because we had to… The only moment was a little awkward because… No, you won’t go into detail.”

“But then, the next morning, I told him I needed to dry off. So he was so young, we called his mom to see where I could dry off.”

“It was so weird on the phone, it was so obvious we were in bed together,” Coolidge added.
“Well, she gave me a good recommendation at a local mall, so it all worked out.”
Despite the awkward end to the engagement, the Emmy winner for the hitmaker of “Thank U, Next” said the unnamed guy was “the best D—” ever.
“He was definitely the youngest fellow,” Coolidge said. “It was very, very charming.”
“‘American Pie’ was just that — it helped my dating life in a way I can’t ever explain,” the “Legal Blonde” star added. “If I hadn’t seen that movie, I don’t think… well, let’s just say it would have been a pretty boring decade.”

Coolidge made her career breakthrough with her scene-stealing role in American Pie, which became a global box office hit and spawned three sequels.
She played the attractive mother to Steve Stifler (Sean William Scott), who takes the virginity of her son’s friend Paul Finch (Eddie Kay Thomas) over a pool table in the first film.
Coolidge reprized her role in the film’s sequels, 2001’s “American Pie 2”, 2003’s “American Wedding” and 2012’s “American Reunion”.
The actress previously told Variety that she “got a lot more sexual” after playing Stifler’s mother.

“I played a lot of MILF and got a lot of eroticism out of American Pie,” she said in August. “There was a lot of benefit to doing this movie. I mean, there would be like 200 people I never slept with.”
However, in her interview with Grande, Coolidge made it clear that she was joking about how many people she slept with.

I said that jokingly [in a previous interview] And she said, Oh my God, you can’t really make jokes in our town, because I made a huge mistake by saying, “Thank God for this movie, I slept with 200 guys,” or whatever.
“Look, I’d say that was true, but I mean, that was kind of an exaggeration.”
