People are calling Bethenny Frankel over Meghan Markle’s frequent criticisms

Bethenny Frankel is facing some criticism for publicly criticizing Meghan Markle… again.

The reality TV star shared her disapproval of Netflix series Harry & Meghan, which she called “boring,” in a video posted to TikTok on Monday.

“I felt like this whole documentary was about how famous we are, ‘We’re so famous, it’s relentless,’” she said. “When you’re in a car, and you say you’re going to a garage … It sounds like you really want us to know how famous you are, Which we already know.”

She continued, “If you’ve been trolled by the media, the royal family has given you the advice not to say anything because that’s the advice most celebrities give you. If you add petrol to the fire, the fire burns even bigger.”

She later accused the Duchess of Sussex of desiring the fame that came with becoming royal and the opportunity to make friends with other celebrities, such as Amal and George Clooney.

“He doesn’t seem like someone who doesn’t want attention,” she said.

The former “Real Housewives of New York City” star also said that the way the couple handled their decision to step back from roles as senior members of the royal family felt like “a wreck and a job-for-the-money grab.”

“She seems like someone who came into the monarchy and wanted to be in the lead role, and Kate really took that role,” Frankel said of Meghan, later adding that she believed the documentary was “meant to win sympathy.”

“The one who is obsessed with fame and constantly reminds us how famous Bethenny is,” one Twitter user said chirp. “Nobody will remember who she is years from now, but the world will always remember Meghan Markle, and that’s what bothers her. Jealousy is a disease.”

“Harry and Meghan, thank you for the reviews and for the free rental space they have in your mind,” another user said chirp.

When TV presenter Andy Cohen asked Twitter users to post questions they wanted Cohen to ask Frankel before her appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” earlier this month, several users asked about Frankel’s apparent disdain for Meghan.

“Bethenny, why do you hate Meghan Markle so much?” One Twitter user request. “You seem unfazed by the fact that the Duchess is breathing.”

To Bethenny- why do you have a problem with black women expressing their experiences of dealing with racism in different settings? another asked. “What’s your problem with #MeghanMarkle? Leave her alone.”

Last September, Frankel called Meghan an “influencer” during an episode of her podcast, “Just B with Bethenny Frankel,” Entertainment Tonight reported.

“She’s over there,” she said, “we’re down here.”

In May 2021, Frankel blasted Meghan in front of her and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey, telling her, “Cry me a river.”

“The ordeal of being a game show host, somewhat unknown actress, languishing in the mansion, with tiaras and 7 personal weddings for a full two years of being a household name with Oprah on speed dial, bringing in 7M doing interviews, and hundreds of millions in media deals,” She tweeted, later adding that Prince Harry was, however, exempt from the criticism.

Frankel received swift backlash for her remarks at the time, with people calling out to the reality star to understand what it was like for Meghan to endure racist attacks and online abuse during her time as a senior royal.

The “Rooney” alum later retracted her criticism of Meghan, describing herself as “polarizing” and “unfiltered”.

“Watching M&H sitting down. You must feel the emotional distress, the racism, the stifling and the helpless.” “I am a polarizing, unfiltered (often to a fault) flawed and vocal person. When I heard about the interview during a pandemic, it felt like a surprising choice. I’m sorry if this hurt or offended you.”
