Michelle Williams’ ex ‘demands’ Heath Ledger to take control of his bio

Heath Ledger’s ex Michelle Williams has been ‘demanding control’ of his resume – as Hollywood celebs put offers on the table to get the movie

It’s been 14 years since Heath Ledger died tragically at the age of 28 after an accidental overdose.

But it seems that Hollywood is now battling over which Hollywood director will turn the iconic actor’s life into a blockbuster.

According to Woman’s Day, his ex-fiancée Michelle Williams has been protective of Heath’s private life, while his father Kim Ledger has been more receptive to charms with his late son.

Perth-based Kim said he had no doubt someone would one day make a biopic about his son’s life and tragic overdose death ‘when the time is right… [I’m] Not sure when that will be.

Michelle told People magazine that she is very supportive of her best friend, Busy Philipps, for her to star in a movie.

“She knows me better than anyone else,” Michelle, 42, recently admitted.

Sources say that if the project is greenlit, Michelle is determined to make sure her role passes to Busy and that the project focuses on her and Heath’s love story and Matilda’s happy childhood.

They added, “The idea has long been mooted in the studio’s boardrooms, but none of Heath’s friends or family have come forward to help.”

However, sources close to Michele insist that “movie execs better be careful what they wish for” when it comes to trying to put together a movie about the love of her life.

“She’s very protective and wants complete control of Heath’s story and won’t budge on things she probably doesn’t like — Busy’s movie choice, for example.”

Heath and Michelle started dating and in less than a year announced that they were expecting a daughter together.

The couple welcomed their daughter, Matilda, their only child, in October 2005.

Heath died in a New York City apartment on January 22, 2008, after accidentally taking an overdose of medication after months of physical and mental exhaustion.

'I remember [Heath] You look at her, and you look at him with those wide eyes. She was almost amazed at the attention he was giving her, but you could see it every day from there. For him it was truly love at first sight. He was very touched by her,

‘I remember [Heath] You look at her, and you look at him with those wide eyes. She was almost amazed at the attention he was giving her, but you could see it every day from there. For him it was truly love at first sight. He was very touched by her,” said Diana Osana, screenwriter for Brokeback Mountain, of the actor’s first meeting with Michelle.

Said to be a drug user on and off for years, things came to a head when he was bingeing through several films — including his latest role in The Dark Knight — on too little sleep and began relying on various prescription cocktails to shut his mind down.

I couldn’t stop thinking. My body was exhausted, and my mind was still going,” he told the New York Times in an interview in November — just two months before he died at the age of 28.

He was found to have taken a deadly combination of six drugs: two narcotics, two anti-anxiety medications and two sleep medications.
