The Georgia Bulldogs picked up win after win over the past few years and currently stand two wins away from their second straight national title. This success has been years in the making thanks to How Kirby Smart The company has hired, and on Wednesday, the coaching staff is set to add more talent to the roster.
Wednesday marks the start of the December signing period, and the Bulldogs expect to clean up once again on the recruiting trail. Georgia is entering an early signing period with the No. 2 class in the nation in connection with the 2023 tournament with 23 players committed to be Bulldogs. Not only does Georgia hope to formally sign the majority of those 23 players who have pledged to play their college ball in Athens, but it also aims to add a few more players to that group.
While Wednesday is an important day for recruits across the country, a number of Georgia players have already arrived in Athens and are already working hard with the Bulldogs.
Nine Georgia recruits – Cornerback AJ Harris; inside back Raylene Wilson And the CJ Allen; wide receiver tyler williams, Anthony Evans And the Yazeed Haynes; EDGE rusher Gabriel Harris; tight end Lawson Lucky; and defensive tackle Jamal Jarrett – They’ve already signed the necessary papers and arrived in Athens within the last few days, allowing them to start participating in Bulldogs bowl practices. This strategy of getting those players in – who were already planning to get into the system early and practice almost immediately – is nothing new, as is the tight end Oscar Delp and defensive end Michael Williams He warmed up with the team in the run-up to the Orange Bowl against Michigan last season.
