Eric’s holiday party leads to Brooke and Ridge sharing a kiss

All Forrester Mansion is decorated as guests begin to arrive for the annual event. Sure, Sheila’s on the loose, but that doesn’t mean the family will lock the front door or make a security call to announce to the guests. Obviously, Sheila wouldn’t dare interrupt the festivities!

Paris and Zinda arrive and ask if Ridge has appeared yet. Eric admits that Ridge may not show up, though he encouraged his son to be there. Brooke also hopes Ridge won’t stay away because of her. Paris says she totally understands Brooke’s situation, and Zendy agrees, and I’m like, “Wait, they missed a chance to repeat the dialogue about how things went between Ridge and his women? Merry Christmas to us all!”

When we cut to the credits, this is one of those fun things where they toss the sound of jingle bells over the regular music and anyone who knows me, your guest retriever, knows I kinda love this thing. Total sucker for that.

When Hope and Liam arrive, they agree that walking through the front door feels “like a warm hug”.

The kids all gather around the tree singing when they automatically stop so Paris can embarrass them all by tying the last line and stealing the show. Everyone compliments Charlie on his fishing rod – though I’m not quite sure why he’s hanging around the living room – and says he and Pammy will sneak away for a little R&R. “You’ll lock up Bami as I stare at her lustfully,” he says. (So much info, dude!) The conversation turns to Stephanie, and how she’s never out of their thoughts.

Katie and Carter find themselves under the mistletoe, and she says how happy she is to have someone who will take care of her heart. “A very special miracle heart,” he smiles, and we know he’s healthy, too, thanks to her recent visit to the cardiologist. (Wasn’t someone supposed to invite Paris’ mom and Katie’s doctor to the party? In the meantime, I’m still skeptical about this whole doctor’s visit… This isn’t a show with random scenes for no reason.)

Eric raises a glass and suggests everyone a happy holiday, playing Tiny Tim by saying “God bless us all”. As they walk around the room to express their gratitude to him, Zende says he’s grateful he and Paris are given a second (or that third) chance. So it’s clear they’re together now, not because we’ve seen it unfold on screen. “When it’s worth it, and it’s written in the stars, it always falls where it belongs,” Paris says before impaling her lover as Carter, who dumped her at the altar, stands a few feet away. But hey, it’s not embarrassing… that’s how festive gatherings in Forrester manse roll!

Carter says he has a lot to be grateful for, including the pardon the family gave him. “You are my chosen family,” he says, and then, looking at Katie, he adds, “I look forward to seeing what tomorrow brings.” For her part, Katie says they’ve all had a lot of miracles, and there’s still more to come.

“There is Logan’s pride!” Hope got excited, and I can totally hear the haters among you who aren’t silently grumbling at the fact that there are more Logans than Forresters in attendance. Hush, it’s Christmas! Hope continues that she’s glad her kids have such good role models to look up to, especially her husband.

Liam, in turn, encourages everyone to “look for joy. It’s out there. And luckily, in my case, I don’t have to look away.”

When it’s Brooke’s turn, she shares how lucky she feels to have her family — especially her children, grandchildren, and sisters — to rely on, especially now. With his usual impeccable timing, Ridge chooses that moment to walk in, hands full of gifts. The way he and Brooke look at each other makes me want to remind her of the self-worth journey she’s currently on and that she shouldn’t let Ridge get in the way of that.

Eric is happy with the arrival of his son. Ridge admits he wears “a great overcoat of humility, because I thought I knew everything about life and love and connection, and it turns out I know very little.” He warns Eric that he’ll never find out about any of it… except what’s really important. And while family is very important, this obviously doesn’t include Thomas, because no one mentions him. cold people. the cold!

As the others watched from the sidelines, Brooke and Ridge spoke, and he admitted that he “really wanted to see her face.” Pam tells Eric that “Ridge and Brock’s strength cannot be denied.” Then she and Charlie snuck out, a twinkle in their eyes…

Ridge is ready to move out, saying he doesn’t want to be kept welcome. But Brock points out that this is his family’s home, and he shouldn’t rush. “I have some work to do,” he admits. “I have to learn to be more direct.” She suggests that now is not the time to discuss it. “I should have believed in you,” he sighs. “I believe in you! I know you swear at men right now, especially this guy, but it’s Christmas.”

At that very moment, Charlie and Pam use their new fishing pole to hang mistletoe over Ridge and Brooke, who share a kiss.

Sweet Bold Birthday Kiss Brooke

The party started out, and honestly, it looked like a blast and there are a few ideas I might steal here for my own holiday gathering. Christmas bingo? Bobbing for a candy cane? And of course, there’s plenty of Toothy Eric’s syrup to go around! Eric encourages the family—and by extension, all of us—to help the less fortunate, to be better people, and to keep the spirit of Christmas alive in our hearts all year long.

And of course, it won’t be a Bold and beautiful Christmas if guests don’t gather around the piano to sing a chorus or two from “Deck the Halls.”
