A grieving Cher admitted Tuesday that she was “struggling to sleep” following the heartbreaking death of her mother, Georgia Holt.

The 76-year-old icon lost her beloved mother on Saturday and has since revealed on Twitter that the 96-year-old Holt’s final moments were filled with “a lot of pain.”

The Strong Enough singer originally shared the news with three heartbreaking words on Saturday, tweeting: “My mom is gone.”

“I can’t sleep well,” the Strong Enough singer tweeted on Tuesday.

Cher went on to tell fans that they should look for a video of her and Holt singing I Only Yesterday.

The Believe hitmaker stated that her mother was “sick and clustering” before her health rapidly deteriorated over the weekend.

Back in early September, Cher revealed in another Twitter post that Georgia had been hospitalized with pneumonia and had recurring health issues.

On Tuesday, the Oscar winner also shed some light on her mother’s final moments.

“She was in so much pain,” Cher wrote on Twitter.

She continued her candid tweet by announcing that “the woman who was my kick A**MOM” has finally passed away.

Cher’s tweets were posted between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m., suggesting that her grief kept her going until dawn.

But it looks like the star finally found some relief after tweeting about her mom’s tragic death.

In a final tweet, she wrote: “I’m Sleepyhead now.”

Georgia once harbored her own ambitions to be an artist, singing in salons as a child and winning a series of beauty pageants as a teenager.

At age 86, Holt released her first country album, Honky Tonk Woman, which was recorded more than three decades earlier in 1980.

Georgia has been a lifelong support system for Char, seeing her through stratospheric fame and tumultuous romance.

And Georgia herself has also had a tumultuous love life, having led to six failed marriages by the age of 50.

She allegedly took an unorthodox approach to motherhood, according to Cher, who revealed: “She never gave me and my sister advice because, truthfully, she knew we’d never take it.”
