These fast food restaurants will open on Christmas Day 2022

(NEXSTAR) — If you’re on the go this Christmas, or simply skipping the traditional feast at home for something a little faster, you probably know your options are limited. While many restaurants close their doors on December 25, there are some that still accept customers for the holiday.

To save you the trouble of searching for these restaurants, here’s a list of fast food chains and major restaurants that remain open — and a few are closed — for Christmas 2022.

Keep in mind that opening hours are likely to vary by location.

Boston Market

Participating Boston Market locations will be open on Christmas, according to the company’s website.

Burger King

Hours may vary by location, a Burger King representative told Nexstar. You can check local business hours online here.

Known for being “always open,” Denny’s will open on Christmas.

Domino’s

Since Domino’s locations are independently owned, they may or may not be open around Christmas, a company representative told Country Living. Some may also be closed on Christmas Eve. You can view your website hours online.

Many Dunkin’ locations will be open around Christmas, but hours may vary by store, a representative told Nexstar. Before visiting, check Dunkin’ hours on the website or in the mobile app.

golden corral

Some Golden Corral locations will be open for Christmas, but they may have limited hours. They may also have shortened hours on Christmas Eve. You can check your restaurant’s operating hours here.

Jersey Mike

According to the company, Jersey Mike will have limited hours on Christmas Eve, but will be closed on Christmas Day.

McDonald’s

While the aforementioned restaurant chains plan to staff for Christmas, there are a few other restaurants that will be making the holiday. Since Christmas falls on a Sunday, Chick-fil-A will be closed (although it probably will be closed anyway, as it did last year). Closed on major holidays, Raising Cane’s chicken restaurant will also be closed on Christmas.

Some restaurants, such as Olive Garden, will not only be closed on Christmas Day, but may close early on Christmas Eve depending on business volume, according to the company. Christmas Eve hours at Taco Bell restaurants will vary, the company says, but locations will be closed on Christmas Day.

In-N-Out locations will be open until 11 p.m. on Christmas Eve, according to a company spokesperson, but will be closed on Christmas Day.

Several Buffalo Wild Wings locations will be open on Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day, a representative told Nexstar. However, hours may vary by location – you can check local Buffalo Wild Wings hours here. A representative for Firehouse Subs said that some of its restaurants will close early on Christmas Eve and may close completely on Christmas Day. You can check your store’s opening hours here.

Most KFC restaurants will be closed on Christmas Day, but a company representative told Nexstar they recommend checking local KFC for their off hours.

Chipotle, Pizza Hut, Qdoba and White Castle locations will close early on Christmas Eve and remain closed through Christmas Day, company representatives told Nexstar.
