Prince Harry dresses up as Spider-Man in a hilarious children’s Christmas message video

Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, recorded a special Christmas video message for a charity for bereaved military children dressed as Spider-Man.

Dressed in a full Spider-Man suit, the prince recorded the message for the Scotty Little Soldiers charity, wishing them a happy birthday.

The video was played on more than 100 children who have experienced the death of a parent who served in the UK armed forces.

Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, dressed as Spider-Man to record a video message to members of the Scotty’s Little Soldiers at their annual Christmas party.

Dressed in a Spider-Man suit, Prince Harry did not reveal his face or identity, in the funny but heartwarming video to wish the kids a Merry Christmas.

Oh Scotty’s little soldiers. Welcome to the Christmas party, the Duke of Sussex told them.

Then give them a challenge to save Christmas by defeating the bad guys who have stolen the Christmas gifts. Kids complete challenges during the Heroes and Villains party.

‘I hope you all got some rest before tonight’s excitement. I heard from Sharky and George that there are five bad guys that you guys must stop ruining Christmas. So, use your teamwork, brains, and strength to make sure you do just that. Find them and don’t let them spoil Christmas, okay?

But the Prince said in a heartfelt message to the children: “At the same time, Christmas is a time when we will miss our loved ones really, really badly. And that’s okay.”

But at the same time, it is possible for us to feel guilty for spending quality time without our parents. But I’m here to assure you that our parents always want us to have fun, okay.

So don’t feel guilty – you’re allowed to have the best time ever, especially with Scotty’s little soldier community.

The Duke of Sussex continued: “So, go there and have the best time, and…”

The Prince then lifted his mask and revealed his identity to the children, as he said, “Merry Christmas.”

Prince also partnered with the charity in November writing for children on Remembrance Day.

In his November letter to the bereaved children, the prince said he shares a bond with them after losing a parent.

But this also isn’t the first time the Duke of Sussex has dressed up for the charity to deliver a heartfelt Christmas message. In 2019, he dressed up as Santa Claus, complete with a long white beard for charity.

Scotty’s little troopers have a long-standing relationship with Harry and said they’re incredibly grateful for his “constant support.”

In 2017, Harry also stepped up to the military charity where he met children who had lost their parents in the UK Armed Forces.

Along with the then Duke of Cambridge and Holland, he welcomed families who have lost loved ones in the military to celebrate at Buckingham Palace.

The prince was a veteran himself – having served two tours in Afghanistan over ten years – who met some 800 children who lost their parents serving their country in battle.

Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan, are currently in the spotlight due to the release of a controversial Netflix documentary set for release on Thursday.

The six-part docuseries will tell the story of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s relationship as it has never been told before, including revelations from friends and relatives who previously avoided talking about their ‘romance’.
