‘The Christmas tree that scared the sh** out of me’: Dax Shepard featuring Kristen Bell decorations

Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell took Christmas tree decorations seriously this year.

On Monday, Dax shared a short video with his 3.8 million Instagram followers showing off the Grinch-inspired tree that his wife had decorated.

The 47-year-old Armchair Expert podcast host commented on the post, “Some people are gaming on Xmas. No @kristenanniebell. She’s here to kick a** and drink beer, and unfortunately for her Christmas competitors, she seems to have run out of everything.”

Before showing off Kristen’s impressive creation, Dax spoke to the camera saying, “You may have heard about the Christmas tree that scared me. I thought it destroyed Newtonian physics as I knew it.”

He continued, “Some people are just curious what it looks like,” before pointing the camera at the tree and laughing, “That’s the Grinch! Look, his hand even popped.”

“But the thing that is so annoying is the prolapse… the prolapse.”

He displayed the Tree Wrapping Tree on which appeared to have a life-size Grinch bending over and sticking his body through the middle with his arm sticking out from the back of the tree.

Bell has been married to Dax since 2013, and they share two Daughters Lincoln, nine, and Delta, seven.

Three weeks ago, during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel, Kristen hilariously explained why telling her daughters she’d recently tried hallucinogenic mushrooms “backfired.”

The Veronica Mars star, 42, revealed her young girls had gossips with their ‘more reserved’ grandmother saying: ‘I overheard my daughter talking to my mom, [her] Grandma, going, “I’m really glad they’re sharing all this stuff with me. Anyway, my mom really wanted to try mushrooms.”

Bell also explained to viewers that her youngsters “know just as well” what mushrooms are as their father, 46, taught them about their sobriety from alcohol and cocaine.

He’s really honest about what alcohol does to your body. How does it make you feel funny and loosens things up, what do drugs do to your body and why are most drugs illegal and all that stuff, she said.

“I’m so lucky to be married to an ex-drug addict,” Bell quipped. “He didn’t just know where to get the mushrooms…he got that beautiful, quality, organic, consistent and signed, beautiful mushroom.”

Over the years, Bell has told the world that she and her husband have always chosen to be honest with their children.

Shepard is an American actor, comedian, and filmmaker who rose to fame in the 2003 Ashton Kutcher-led show Punk’d.

He has starred in several shows including Parenthood, Bless This Mess, and Netflix’s The Ranch.

Shepard has appeared in several feature films including Without the Paddle (2004), Employee of the Month (2006), Baby Mama (2008), Hit and Run (2012), CHiPs (2017) and When in Rome (2010), Who Costs His Wife Christine.

The mother of two got her start on Broadway and landed a starring role in the TV show Veronica Mars, which ran until 2007.

She is also known for her voice work in the Frozen movie franchise, where she played Anna. Her other notable roles include The Good Place, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and Bad Moms.
