Carter overhears a harrowing conversation while Taylor and Ridge are getting ready for Wednesday

In her neglect, Taylor receives wedding flowers in the living room of the Forrester mansion and twirls around before heading upstairs where she catches Stevie trying on a peek at her wedding dress. They hold hands and scream through Taylor’s wedding day so that Ridge will finally be there.

At Forrester, Ridge tells Carter that his cufflinks are at Brooke’s house. Carter offers to go and get her but points out that his friend still loves her. Later, Ridge looks at a picture of Brock and exits.

At Brooke’s house, she is walking with a picture of Ridge when Bill comes over. He knows about Eric’s wedding and notes, “Ridge didn’t waste any time.” Brooke thought their marriage would last forever this time around. Bill knows it’s a tough day for her, and that’s why he’s there – for support. If she was hoping someone would stop Ridge from marrying Taylor today, it wouldn’t happen. He realizes it’s hard to hear, but that’s the way it is.

Bill thinks it could be an opportunity. Bill makes a promotion for her to give him another chance – he’ll make her happier than Ridge did, or he could.

In his room, Douglas is staring at the files on the voice-changing app on his phone when Thomas comes over. And he asks why his son is not getting ready and what is happening with him. Douglas hides the phone under the pillow and asks if he really has to go to the wedding. Thomas points out that he loves his grandparents, who depend on him to be there. The boy wonders if he can count on him to be there or keep his mouth shut about his father setting up Grandma Brooke.

In the other room, Stevie teases her mom, “Are you nervous?” Taylor sits down to help her with her hair and asks if she’s okay. Taylor can’t stop thinking about the whole CPS recall thing, which is why Ridge came to Aspen. He didn’t tell her when she asked him… maybe because she was going to keep running.
Taylor's Wedding Day B&B

At Forrester, Eric and Katie discuss the meeting, which went well, and note how quiet it is today. Eric says it’s a great day for Ridge and his family. Katie reminds him that he has a family with Brooke, too. Katie knows she is a huge supporter of Ridge and Brooke. Katie says he is too – he knows Taylor isn’t the love of Ridge’s life; brook is. Eric disagrees with her. He thinks Brooke and Ridge belong together despite that wedding day. Katie wonders why on earth he supports her at the time.

At Brooke’s place, she and Bill were discussing about Ridge. He indicates that he just moved in after vowing to honor and cherish her. They are just his words, it seems, after what he did to them. “Ridge made his choice and you can make your choice…now.” Carter arrives outside and listens as Bill tells Brock that he has always loved Katie, just not the way he loves her. She never tried to change him, and he never tried to change her. She makes him feel more turned on by life than ever before. “You’re my future. You’re the woman I want. Not Katie. You.” Outside, Carter is stunned.

more: Brooke’s next man?

Stevie does Taylor’s hair as they talk about the glow of a wedding upstairs at Forrester’s mansion. The conversation turns to Brooke and Taylor knowing what Ridge has offended him so much. Stevie feels this wedding was meant to be. Taylor believes Stevie never gave up on faith. Steffy admits that there were dark days when she feared Brooke would have her hook on her father forever, but that’s behind them now, in part because of the CPS call. Her father deserves to be with someone with integrity who can spend his life loving and caring. “That’s why he’s marrying you, Mom. Not because of what he did to Brooke.” Taylor smiles and nods, “I know.”

Downstairs, Thomas teases his father about his mother bailing out the wedding before the conversation turns to how much he loves and believes in Ridge. It’s all been worth it getting to this point for Ridge and Taylor to end up together and happy again. Thomas knows his father is not marrying his mother because of what Brock did, but contacting CPS was the last straw. He just wishes Ridge didn’t tell everyone about him and warns that Brock can never know.

Upstairs, Stevie asks Taylor if she and Abi wrote their own vows. Taylor teases that her daughter will be so happy but will have to wait to find out. Taylor wishes Phoebe and Stephanie were there. “They are,” Stevie confirms. She believes this is exactly what they want – for Taylor and Ridge to have a happily ever after. They express their love and embrace.

Downstairs, Douglas appears as Ridge tells Thomas he didn’t want to talk about Brooke or the call she made, but that he thought people deserved to know the truth. He turns to Douglas and gets angry, “You’re in trouble; you can’t come here to look like that and show the groom.” He thinks the boy is bored but Douglas says that is not the case, and adds, “I want to be happy for you and your grandmother.” Thomas reminds the child that they belong together and make each other happy. Douglas asks to go back to his room so that the wedding can begin. Ridge asks Thomas, “Is he all right?” Thomas tells his father to focus on making his mother the happiest woman in the world today. Ridge reiterates how proud he is of Thomas and the man he has become and the father he was to Douglas. “This day would not have happened without your help.” Ridge pulls an agitated Thomas into a hug.
