Prisco’s Week 15 NFL Picks: The Hot Lions beat the Jets. Bills crush dolphins. Bill Belichick fronts Josh McDaniels

My overall picks were pretty good last week, and really bad when it came to my CBSSports.com Expert picks. I went a miserable 4-9, but I went 9-4 straight and 3-2 with my best bets as part of the Pick Six podcast.

This brings my season records to 46-33-4 with my best bets, which I’ll take, 126-81-1 with my straight picks and a terrible 96-104-8 with my ATS picks.

It hit me picking out the full list of ATS picks this year. I just can’t get into a groove. I had a good week 13 and then week 14 went to hell. That changes this week.

The winners are coming.

Featured game | Seattle Seahawks vs San Francisco 49ers

The Seahawks defense has crumbled in recent weeks as they head into this major division game. The 49ers defeated them earlier this season with Jimmy Garoppolo, and they have to do it again here with Brock Purdy. He played well last week on his debut and I think he’ll be fine here too. 49ers take it.

Featured game | Minnesota Vikings vs. Indianapolis Colts

The Colts come off a bye, while the Vikings come off losing the road. The Colts’ offense has struggled tremendously this season, but so has Minnesota’s defense. But I do give Minnesota an advantage over the Colts’ offensive line. Look for the Vikings to come back here because the defense plays better.

pluck or pluck: Vikings 28, Colts 14

Featured game | Cleveland Browns vs. Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens won’t have Lamar Jackson, but will they have Tyler Huntley, who suffered a concussion last week? Or will it be the rookie, Anthony Brown? Brown is over, so this is a pride game. Deshaun Watson hasn’t been good, and that’s a concern. The Ravens play a back-to-back road game, and it’s tough. They’ll win it from behind their defense, but it’s close.

pluck or pluck: Ravens 23, Browns 22

Saturday, 8:15 p.m. ET (NFL Network)

Featured game | Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins lost two straight and are now playing their third straight road game. This is brutal. The Bills lost to Miami in the first meeting, despite their dominance. Tua Tagovailoa have struggled the past two weeks and it should be tough conditions this week. The Bills will win the title because they play good defense and Josh Allen will do his part.

pluck or pluck: Bills 27, Dolphins 17

Featured game | New Orleans Saints vs Atlanta Falcons

Both teams come into the game, and they’re both alive in the playoff chase — but just barely. The Falcons are changing quarterbacks, going to rookie Demond Ridder. This is a tough place to debut because these two teams don’t like each other and it’s a tough place to play. The Saints will win that person behind their defense and destroy Ridder’s first start.

pluck or pluck: Saints 27, Falcons 16

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Featured game | Carolina Panthers vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Panthers can reach the playoffs by winning, starting with this one. Carolina relies on defense and a running game on offense to win games. The Steelers might be without Kenny Pickett in this (concussion), but even if he played, it wouldn’t matter. Carolina Runner is going to win this game.

pluck or pluck: Panthers 23, Steelers 16

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Featured game | Chicago Bears vs. Philadelphia Eagles

The Bears get a bye, while the Eagles play a second straight road game. so what. It doesn’t matter in this. The Eagles offense is rolling and it will be against Chicago. Look for Jalen Hurts to continue the MVP push with another big day as Justin Fields won’t be able to keep up.

pluck or pluck: Eagles 33, Bears 17

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Featured game | Houston Texans vs Kansas City Chiefs

The Texans played well in one close loss to the Cowboys last week, while the Chiefs looked to be in a tight victory over the Broncos. The Chiefs also play back-to-back road games, but that doesn’t matter. They get it from both sides here. A blast as Patrick Mahomes plays well.

pluck or pluck: Presidents 33, Texas 17

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Featured game | Jacksonville Jaguars vs Dallas Cowboys

The Jaguars are still alive in the playoff race, while Dallas is trying to track down the Eagles in their division. Jacksonville comes off an explosive offense showing Tennessee behind Trevor Lawrence. But this is a much tougher challenge. The Cowboys offense will put points here against Jacksonville’s poor defense. Look for a lot of points, but Dallas is the better team.

Featured game | New York Jets vs Detroit Lions

This is a big game. Yes, it’s a big game. The Lions won five out of six to go into the playoff race. The Jets are coming off a second straight loss with Mike White at quarterback. He played well, but this game is going to be about the Lions offense against the Jets defense. I think the Lions get the best of it.

pluck or pluck: Lions 25, Jets 20

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Featured game | Denver Broncos vs. Arizona Cardinals

Kyler Murray is finished for the season with a torn ACL, which means Colt McCoy starts for the Cardinals in this game between two frustrated teams. Russell Wilson suffered a concussion last week, so his situation is up in the air. Midfielder could be Brett Rybien. Robin vs. McCoy. Oh boy. The Broncos have the better defense, and that’s what’s going to win them this game.

pluck or pluck: Broncos 20, Cardinals 13

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Featured game | Las Vegas Raiders vs New England Patriots

The Patriots beat the Cardinals with an impressive second half game Monday night, while the Raiders are coming off a horrific loss to the Rams last Thursday. The Patriots are staying in Arizona for a week, which will help with travel issues. Mack Jones showed some life against the Cardinals and I think he will here as well. Patriots win it.

pluck or pluck: Patriots 30, Raiders 27

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Featured game | Los Angeles Chargers vs. Tennessee Titans

That’s a long haul for a Titans team that has lost three in a row. The Chargers had an impressive victory over Miami. Trevor Lawrence split the Titans last week and this week it’s Justin Herbert. The charger wins it after a big day has passed.

pluck or pluck: Chargers 31, Titans 20

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Featured game | Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals had some big injuries en route to this one, but Tampa Bay has looked lifeless on offense for much of the past month. The Bengals defense has made a huge improvement in that time. This is a problem for Tom Brady. Joe Borough will get the best of him.

pluck or pluck: 27 Bengals, Bucks 20

Sunday, 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC, FuboTV)

Featured game | Washington Chiefs vs. New York Giants

The Chiefs get a schedule break here when they come bye, while the Giants take a heavy loss to the Eagles. These two tied two weeks ago in New York, but this time the leaders behind the running game and defense will win it. Giants are reeling.

pluck or pluck: Leaders 23, Giants 17

Monday, 8:15 p.m. ET (ESPN, FuboTV)

Featured game | Green Bay Packers vs. Los Angeles Rams

Baker Mayfield was impressive in his Rams debut, but now he has to hit the road to play for the Packers. He should know the crime better, which will help. But this is a game for Aaron Rodgers to keep his team alive chasing the playoffs. Packers take it.

pluck or pluck: Packers 28, Rams 17
