lamelo ball It’s officially back, baby. The dynamic young player has only played in four games this season, but he made a triumphant return to the lineup for the Hornets’ latest competition. He had 23 points and 11 assists in 34.1 minutes, which led the DraftKings to 44.25 points. The playing time has been particularly encouraging as it seems like the ball is not within a difficult minute despite missing a whole month due to an ankle injury.
Ball is currently expected to handle a similar workload in our NBA models, and he can clearly pay off his current price in those many minutes. He’s averaged 1.17 DraftKings points per minute in his limited action this season, and he’s drawing an elite game against the Falcons. The Hornets’ tacit total of 121.25 ranks second on the list, and the 10 professional ball trends are tied for the most on DraftKings.
Values
Donte Divincenzo He’s provided exceptional value for the Warriors lately, posting an average plus/minus of +6.36 over his past 10 games. His salary has increased dramatically over that time frame, as has his role in the crime. He would be out 37.8 minutes in his last game, however Steve Curry Now on the sidelines, DiVincenzo should be locked up for a good chunk of the minutes. He’s expected to be just under 34 minutes in our NBA models, and his output has increased to DraftKings’ 0.99 points per minute over the past month.
A quick break
Tra Young It is another elite option to consider for this position. The Hawks’ tamper checks are slightly behind the Hornets, and Young will have to do some of the heavy lifting given their current injury situation. Dijonte MurrayAnd the John CollinsAnd the Clint Capella All out of the lineup, Young saw a utilization increase of +7.9% with all three players left on the floor.
Nuggets coach Mike Malone recently told reporters he would give Hyland Bones More playing time, and so far, he’s been a guy of his word. Bones has averaged 26.2 minutes over his past four contests, and FanDuel Plus/Minus has posted a positive in all of them. Hyland has averaged 1.1 FanDuel points per minute this season, so he can rack up fantasy points quickly.

Jordan Paul He was rewarded with a great contract extension during the off-season, and it’s time for him to go make his money. Poole is basically a luxury item for warriors when they are at full power, but they are far from full power currently. Carrie W Andrew Wiggins Both are sidelined by injuries, and Paul will be asked to pick up the slack. He saw team utilization rise +7.1% with Carey Wiggins off the ground, resulting in an average of 1.06 FanDuel points per minute.
Poole has been priced throughout the industry, but it’s still relatively affordable at $7,700 on FanDuel. Its price comes with a bargain rating of 92%, tied for the top mark in the position.
Values
Bogdan Bogdanovich It’s a little more expensive than the typical “value” option, but it still stands out as one of the best values in the center. Most of the better options in this game between the Hornets and Hawks would be attractive, but Bogdanovic has been playing very well lately. He’s posted a positive plus/minus in four of his past five games, and has lost 42.5 DraftKings points or more in two of them. He has increased his output to 1.01 Draft Kings per minute with Murray, Collins and Capella off the ground, giving him a solid floor and a ceiling at his current salary.
A quick break
The game between the Pistons and Kings stands out as another DFS goal for the elite. The total is 237.5 points, while the Kings are the 5.5-point favorites. Kevin Huerter Currently questionable, and both Terrence Davis And the Malik is a monk He will file an appeal if Herter is disqualified. Davis started in place of Hutter on Wednesday and averaged 28.25 points putting the Kings down in 24.8 minutes. Monk finished with 34.25 DraftKings points per minute in 32.6 minutes, and both players averaged at least 1.12 DraftKings points per minute for the year.
Zack Lavigne It’s down to $7,300 at FanDuel, even though he’s posted an average of plus/minus +5.96 over his past 10 games. Historically, LaVine has averaged plus/minus +2.15 with a similar salary as a member of the Bulls, so this is a good time to buy low from him (according to the Trends tool).
NBA DFS Small Forward Picks
stud
LeBron James He knocks out 63.25 DraftKings points in his final game, and continues to get the job done in his 20th professional season. He’s averaged 1.41 DraftKings points per minute over the past month, the highest mark among Friday’s DraftKings small forwards.
The LeBron has also dropped to just $9,800, which seems like an excellent value. It results in a bargain rating of 92%, and James is expected to get more fantasy points than Jason Tatum And the Kevin Durant in our NBA models. Both players are at least $1,100 more expensive than LeBron, so he’s the obvious better choice if he’s a paying center.
Values
It’s hard to get too excited to play Lamar Stevens, who averaged just 0.64 DraftKings points per minute this season. Still, Stevens is expected to play a huge role for someone who costs only $3,500. It’s been predicted for over 32 minutes in our NBA models, and players with similar salaries and accurate predictions have historically averaged plus/minus +5.04. The Pacers were also a solid game all year, ranking second in speed and 23rd in defensive efficiency.
A quick break
Kyle Anderson And the Jaden McDaniels Both remain applicable Cities Carl Anthony out of the lineup, and the Timberwolves may be thinner on Friday. Angelo Russell And the Rudy Goubert Both are questionable, so they could offer more value than usual.
if there is He saw a price drop on FanDuel, with his salary dropping to $5,300 for Friday’s game versus the Timberwolves. That’s a little too cheap for him. Dort has averaged 0.84 FanDuel points per minute this season, and he routinely plays between 32 and 34 minutes. The Thunder are also included for 118.0 points in this matchup, so they have a bit more offensive upside than usual.
NBA DFS Power Forward picks
stud
Power Forward is poorly placed at the top in DraftKings, but there are some excellent options in FanDuel. Domantas Sabonis is one of them. His $8,900 salary comes with a bargain rating of 95%, and he’s done some excellent work with the Kings lately. He’s posted a positive Plus/Minus in six of his past seven games, including a 56.5 FanDuel score against the Raptors in his last contest. Friday’s game against the Pistons is much friendlier, with Detroit ranked 29th in defensive efficiency and points allowed in the paint. It is a potential breaking point.
Values
DeAndre Hunter He is another member of the Hawks family who should capitalize on their current injury condition. He went out 37.8 minutes in their final game, and responded with a DraftKings score of 38.0. Hunter isn’t the best producer-per-minute – he’s averaged 0.77 DraftKings per minute this season – but that number rises to 0.93 with Murray, Collins and Capela off the ground.
A quick break
Darius Bazley is another potential source of value for DraftKings. He came in at just $3,500, resulting in a bargain rating of 98%, and has averaged 0.93 DraftKings points per minute this season. He hit 30.6 minutes last in their competition, and he’s projected to run 26.3 minutes currently on our NBA models. With this much playing time, it has to be one of the best values on the list.
is being Julius Randel Back? The Knicks big man had a tough season in 2021-22, but he’s bounced back in a big way this season. He’s been particularly good lately, posting an average plus/minus of +8.67 over his past 10 matches on FanDuel. It’s priced above that stretch, but it still has a bargain rating of 91% on FanDuel.
NBA DFS Center picks
stud
Friday Slate has a lot of star power, but no one else in basketball plays it like that Joel Embiid at the moment. He has been unstoppable lately, posting a positive plus/minus in nine of his past 11 matches. The two exceptions are the games where he played 30.3 and 28.5 minutes, so he’s crushed every time he gets his usual allotment of playing time.
Embiid should be able to do some damage if Friday’s game against the Warriors is competitive. They’ve been playing at the fastest pace in the league this season, and while they might be a little slower without Curry, it’s still a great place for Philly’s speed. Embiid is currently expected to have less than five percent ownership of FanDuel, so it’s a strong contrasting choice for the leagues.
Values
Mr. Okongwu It is the last stop on our falcon tour. Okongwu has been a solid player when given a chance this season, averaging 0.97 DraftKings points per minute. With Capella sidelined, the coast is clear for Okongwu to handle the majority of center minutes in Atlanta. Currently projected at 29.2 minutes in our NBA models, Okongwu has historically averaged 29.95 DraftKings points in five previous games with similarly accurate projection. It’s hard to let go of this type of production at its current salary across the industry.
A quick break
Christian Wood He averaged 1.14 DraftKings points per minute in his first year with the Mavericks, and his price dropped to just $6,000 at the DraftKings. This makes it an interesting low buying target. He played over 35 minutes in the last Mavericks contest, and he’s holding a solid lead in a solid game against the Blazers given his opponent is plus/minus +4.88.
Nick Claxton He’s averaged 1.12 FanDuel points per minute this season, and has averaged plus/minus +8.00 over his past 10 games. However, he put in a poor showing in his last contest, bringing his price down to $6,300. This makes him a solid low buying option, even in a tough game against the Raptors.
