The Guilty Gear Strive trailer appears to tease who will be next in Season Pass 2

Sin Kiske was recently released as the second fighter in Season Pass 2. Two more characters will be released in Season Pass 2 in 2023. Newer developer Backyard has already informed fans that DLC Character #8 and DLC Character #9 will be released sometime in March 2023 and May 2023 respectively.

For those who haven’t picked up on the developer’s backyard, Arc System Works has decided to release a new trailer at the end of ARCREVO Japan 2022 that replicates the March 2023 release window for the next DLC fighter. Surprisingly, though, the trailer also seems to have left off a somewhat definitive clue to this fighter’s identity.

During this short trailer, clips from Guilty Gear Strive Another Story are shown. Since this additional story content was released, it was widely believed that Sin Kiske would become a DLC character due to his new look and role in this story.

It looks like another character from Another Story who is currently not playable is set to become DLC next. The short snippet seems to put a great deal of emphasis on Biedman.

Based on this, Arc System Works seems to be hinting at several different possibilities. Either Bedman will return in Guilty Gear Strive as a DLC fighter, or his sister Delilah will join as a newcomer.

Although Bedman is technically dead during the events of Guilty Gear Xrd, it is revealed that his soul and will are now bound to the reinforced, high-density bed frame. Needless to say, this is how Bedman appears in another story.

If Bedman returns in Guilty Gear Strive, it’s likely he’ll just be a non-dominant bedframe like he appeared in another story. As is typical of Guilty Gear Strive, he will likely adopt several changes to his moveset.

Of course, we have to mention that while Delilah wasn’t seen directly in the short teaser, her relationship with Bedman makes her an undeniable possibility. Perhaps Delilah will replace Bedman due to his death in Guilty Gear Xrd.

Following the release of Sin Kiske as the second DLC fighter in Season Pass 2, a certain data miner recently found files indicating he’s likely to come next. Needless to say, this short trailer seems to make a reference to that particular fighter.
