Tamar Braxton rushed to hospital while battling flu: ‘It’s worse than COVID’
Tamar Braxton says she is “completely isolated” after being hospitalized with the flu.
“This is not a post of concern…this is an alert message,” the “All the Way Home” singer wrote on Instagram on Friday, adding that she had to be “taken to the hospital by AMBULANCE” one day after she went holiday shopping with her friends.
“[I] I needed oxygen because I thought God was taking me home because I couldn’t breathe and my chest was on fire! she added.
“Yes, I have the flu 🤦🏽♀️ and let me tell you it’s worse than COVID in my opinion… I’m on 5 different medications 😩.”
Then Braxton, 45, urged her followers to “please be careful” while they’re out during this holiday season.
“I haven’t been around a lot of people and have no idea where it came from.. Enjoy your vacation at home.. You don’t want this.. Yeah I’m quite a loner because it’s so contagious 😷 I really love you guys,” she concluded.
In a post on Instagram, the four-time Grammy-nominated musician shared a collection of videos and photos of her having fun with her friends, while sitting in a hospital bed and one clip of her receiving breathing therapy.
While Braxton is now out of the hospital and on her way to recovery, some of her close friends and family have sent their love and support in the comments section of her message.
“Pray for a speedy recovery! Former “The Real” co-host Adrienne Bailon wrote, “I love you…”
“Love you. Get well soon Tamar,” commented her mother, Evelyn Braxton.
“Aww babe get well soon my prayer is over!” Former “Family Matters” actress Sherri Johnson added.
“🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽,” wrote “Basketball Wives” star Jennifer Williams.
Braxton is a mother to 9-year-old son Logan, whom she shares with ex-husband Vincent Herbert.
