Prince William attends the wedding of his ex-girlfriend Rose Farquhar
Prince William and Rose Farquhar prove that ex-boyfriends can still be friends.
The Prince of Wales attended his first serious girlfriend’s wedding in Gloucestershire on Saturday — and she seemed to be flying solo.
William, 40, looked dapper as he attended the ceremony in a smart black outfit with a bow tie.
He was one of several guests who watched his 39-year-old ex-wife, whom he dated in 2000, say “I do” to George Gemmell at St Mary’s Church.
William and Farquhar first met at the Beaufort Polo Club after King completed his A-levels at the prestigious Eton College. It was once rumored that they were caught strolling in a field, according to the Daily Mail.
After their brief romance, Farquhar moved to New York to study acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute, and later appeared on The Voice UK in 2016.
It seems that Kate Middleton, William’s current wife, did not attend the wedding with him.
Page Six has contacted Kensington Palace for comment but did not immediately hear back.
William’s outing comes just days after Netflix dropped the second installment of a docuseries about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, with the Duke of Sussex accusing his brother of “yelling” at him during a meeting.
“It was terrifying for my brother to scream and yell at me and my parents [King Charles III] You say things that weren’t true, grandma [Queen Elizabeth II] Harry claimed: “Sit quietly there and take it all in.
The six-episode docuseries titled “Harry and Meghan” also accused Buckingham Palace aides of using Markle as a “scapegoat” to divert the press away from negative stories about other members of the royal family.
Buckingham Palace has not commented on any of the allegations made in the show. A source told Page Six that William and Middleton haven’t watched the docuseries.
“William and Kate’s assistants have briefed them on the show, but don’t expect the couple to be sitting in their hut with a bowl of popcorn to discipline themselves,” an insider quipped.
The senior members of the royal family have put up a united front in the wake of the explosive headlines, with many of them gathering to attend Middleton’s “Together This Christmas” concert at Westminster Abbey.
The second annual event was sponsored by the Royal Foundation, and in honor of the late Queen Elizabeth II, who died on September 8 at the age of 96.
Middleton was joined by her husband, along with two of their children, Prince George, 9, and Princess Charlotte, 7. Prince Louis, 4, did not attend the ceremony.
