Add the Wee Emoji to your iPhone watch, because you deserve a little happiness
True, iOS is not as such It’s as customizable as Android, but the gap is much narrower than it used to be. These days, you can Personalize your iPhone lock screenAnd the Change your app icons to anything you likeand even Add a digital pet to the dynamic island. If you’re in the market for another iPhone customization hack, here’s a quirk: You can add an emoji to your iPhone’s menu bar, right next to the clock.
For this trick, we will be exploiting a vulnerability in Apple’s “Focus” feature, As shown here by TikTok designer techhackguy. As you may already know, Focus allows you to create custom Do Not Disturb modes that block specific apps and notifications at different points in your day. For example, you can make Focus on Work block notifications from non-work related apps or contacts and remove home screen pages containing any app you won’t need during work hours.
One fun feature is the ability to set an emoji for each focus. You can use a bed emoji to focus while sleeping, a bag to focus on work, a smiley for personal focus, and so on. This emoji pops up in the top-left corner of your iPhone’s screen, so you know when your iPhone is currently on a Focus and focus on it.
Here’s the thing: You can set up Focus that doesn’t block any notifications or apps, and actually does nothing but put a cute emoji at the top of your screen next to the clock. It’s a completely pointless hack, other than that it might bring you a small amount of joy, which it isn’t.
How to add a custom emoji to your iPhone using focus
To set up your emojis, open Settings > Focus hit (+) in the top left, then choose “Custom”. Give Focus a name and a color (this won’t affect the emoji in the corner), and it’s time to choose your emoji. Unfortunately, you don’t have the option to run with Which The emoji you want. You’ll need to choose from the 47 options Apple provides here – a fairly decent variety. Click on which one you want to see at the top of the screen, then press Next.

At this point, focus and notifications or apps aren’t blocked, so it’s a good idea to continue using your device as normal. (Of course, if you are an act You want to set up Focus to block many apps or notifications, We have a full walkthrough of the process here.)
By default, Focuses syncs across all compatible Apple devices, so you’ll see this emoji on your connected iPad and Mac, too. If you like it, great! If not, you can disable Share Across Devices on the main Focus settings page. Just know by doing this, your other devices will not automatically trigger this or any other focus mode on your iPhone until you re-enable sharing. You may also want to disable the focus state for this emoji focus as well. Otherwise, it will tell your friends that your notifications have been silenced, even when you don’t.
