Jennifer Lopez sneaks a sneak peek of her “Hummingbird Christmas” style, including the dress she wore for the Ben Affleck Duet!

Jennifer Lopez elegantly decorated the holidays with a special theme this year.

the marry me The star, 53, shared photos from her holiday celebrations on her latest issue on JLo newsletter, and announced that it had centered its theme and style this Christmas around the hummingbird motif.

“To me, hummingbirds are messengers of love,” Lopez wrote in her newsletter. . everything is going to be OK.”

She even decorated her Christmas tree with silver and gold hummingbirds and teal ornaments, which she matched in photos posted to Instagram to a similar teal dress with red ribbon ornaments. The collar and cuffs on the dress were white with flower appliqués, which she complemented with white floral earrings and red patent leather straps at the ankle.

“So, this year, I decided the hummingbird would be a perfect theme,” she said, adding that she wrote a song called “Hummingbird” for her new album. “We’ve mixed families, doubled the fun, doubled the love, doubled the gifts and tripled the mess!!”

Lopez also admitted that the jumper affected her look at the star-studded holiday party she threw with Ben Affleck, 50, at their Los Angeles home earlier this month.

“I also chose hummingbird colors for my dresses for this year’s holiday party,” she wrote. “It’s a Gucci dress I had in my closet that I bought a year ago and have been waiting for the perfect occasion to wear. I thought it was perfect for the Hummingbird Christmas party.”

The floor-length, extravagant silk gown featured what appeared to be fan or wing patterns in various colors of silver, teal and green across the length of the gown with long sleeves. The sleeves of the dress, which wrapped around her wrist, transition to black velvet cuffs and a silver pattern accentuating the dress’s high neckline. She accessorized the dress with silver dangling earrings and wore her hair in a sleek ponytail.

The actress and singer stepped out for the first holiday season she and Affleck have been together since hooking up with him earlier this year.

“For the past eight years, we’ve been making our version of Christmas Taco Tuesday, where we get together, dress up, and sing Christmas carols,” Lopez said in her newsletter. “It was the first time in a long time that we got to get together with people we hadn’t seen in forever. The party was full of family, friends, colleagues and people we’ve known over the years. We sang and danced and just had a great time.”

Several videos from the party surfaced on social media including a video of Lopez leading the crowd in a groovy rendition of “Jingle Bells” and holding the mic in front of the crowd.

Her beau Affleck also got in on the fun, grabbing the mic to perform John Legend’s “By Christmas Eve.” In another video, he and Lopez are caught sharing a sweet kiss and an embrace.

The couple tied the knot on July 16, during a private ceremony in Las Vegas at the Little White Wedding Chapel, and then had a second wedding ceremony to celebrate with family over friends on August 20.

“It’s a beautiful outcome that this happened this way at this time in our lives where we can really appreciate each other and celebrate each other and respect each other,” Lopez told People earlier this year about her second chance at love with Affleck.

She added, “We’ve always done that, but we have more appreciation because we know life can take you in different directions.”
