Richard Gere and his wife, Alejandra Silva, shared a rare glimpse of their two young sons as they celebrated Christmas Eve together.
Gere, 73, and Silva, 39, were seen spending time with their children by the water in a new photo posted to her Instagram account on Saturday.
“Merry Christmas, from our family to yours,” she captioned the post, adding, “Love to all ♥️ #FelizNavidad #MerryChristmas.”
The couple shares a 3-year-old son, Alexander, and also welcomed their second son together in April 2020, though they haven’t revealed his name yet.
Their two children are removed from the camera to hide their faces.
While Silva was dressed in a pretty yellow sundress, Gere was dressed more casually in blue shorts and a white T-shirt. Their kids looked cute in matching blue Crocs.
Gere and Silva are very private about their family life and rarely share pictures of their children. Although Gere is not on social media, Silva has shared some photos with her sons, though she hides their faces.
In October, Silva shared a sweet snap of her sons enjoying a day at the pumpkin patch, and almost a year ago, she posted a photo of her young children celebrating Christmas 2021.
The “Runaway Bride” actor and Silva, the publicist, secretly married in early 2017 after dating for four years.
She celebrated their wedding anniversary with a gushy post for her husband on Instagram in May 2020.
“Today is the day I married the most amazing man I’ve ever met, I know it sounds cliche but it’s true!!” She wrote in the post’s caption along with a photo from their wedding day. “Come on from my heart, I am so proud to be with you, to share this life with you, to be the mother of our children, to be your friend, to be your wife!”

Gere was previously married to Cindy Crawford from 1991 to 1995 and to Carey Lowell from 2002 to 2016. Gere and Lowell share a 22-year-old son, Homer.
