‘RHOSLC’ fans think Jin Shah gave Heather Jay the black eye
Fans of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” are convinced that Jin Shah gave co-star Heather Gay the black eye.
After a wild night out in San Diego during the now-airing Ladies’ Cast Cruise, Jay showed up with such a huge glitter on her left eye that it was swollen. She also had scratches on her lower arms and back.
The Beauty Lab founder, 40, texted Shah, who initially expressed concern when she saw Jay’s injuries, but quickly agreed to help her friend come up with a “good cover story.”
“I don’t want to get anyone in trouble, Jane,” Jay said. “That’s why I want you to help me find out if someone wants to talk about what really happened last night.”
Jay spent the rest of the day oscillating between insisting she didn’t know what happened and teasing that she knew what happened but couldn’t say.
“We’re not sure what happened last night, but we know things got a little rough,” her shocked co-stars told her. “I think we all know what happened, I guess we just don’t want to talk about it.”
Shah, 49, has not engaged in any group conversation about a black eye.
Even Jay’s biggest enemies, Lisa Barlow and Whitney Rose, were really surprised and worried about the situation.
“Looks like somebody recorded your time,” Barlow said, to which Jay replied, “Well, maybe somebody did, and they don’t want to talk about it.”
She even played coy with the seemingly frustrated producers in her confessions. When asked who she is “trying to protect” by not revealing what happened, Jay replies, “I am.”
During her confession, Rose — who vehemently denies attacking Jay — posited, “I think it’s Jane. Like, what if Heather knocked on Jane and Jane hit her? Do you think that would be bad for her trial?”
“I don’t want to get anyone in trouble, Jane,” Jai told Shah. “That’s why I want you to help me find out if someone wants to talk about what really happened last night.”

Viewers shared similar sentiments, arguing that Gaye — who continued to stick by Shah even after she changed her guilty plea in her federal fraud case — didn’t want to make things worse for her boyfriend.
Shah will be sentenced on January 6 for allegedly running a nationwide telemarketing scheme specifically targeting the elderly.
The plea deal requires up to 14 years in prison and up to $9.5 million in restitution, though she and her husband have asked for leniency. (I asked for a reduced sentence of only three years behind bars.)
Bravo fan account @facereality16 predicted, “If we find out who caused Heather’s black eye, it will be after Jen’s sentencing…that’s a big deal.”
“For argument’s sake, let’s say Heather somehow did this to herself,” they continued, “and it does Jane more damage by acting like she doesn’t ‘want to get anyone in trouble’ versus just saying what happened.”
@facereality16 said they’ve heard a “theory” claiming that “an injection from Heather’s spa caused it” but “Heather wouldn’t say bc she wanted to protect her brand”.
They argued, “Do you think Jane would put her neck down for Heather’s spa when the insinuation that Jane could have done that might affect her sentence? Jane would have thrown Beauty Lab under the bus pretty quickly if she knew that was the reason.”
“Assuming Jane doesn’t really know how that happened, don’t you think she’d ask over and over again what happened in exchange for actively working with Heather to come up with something?” @facereality16 added, also referring to Shah’s “guilty AF body language.”
Hundreds of Twitter users felt the same, with one Insisting That “the only person in this group of friends who can physically beat the crap [Gay] He is Jin Shah, and even categorically denies it, she is Jin Shah! “
another person pointed out“Oohh..that gives ‘Heather is cover for Jen Shah vibes’…allegedly (just in case) lol body language, looks, and need to cover up for ‘someone'”, while another person claimed, “we all don’t [sic] Jane was the one who recorded it.”
Heather Jay is the weakest of women [sic] Let’s sleep ever series housewives. Letting Jin Shah literally punch her in the face and then refuse to talk about it is “weak,” someone else notice.
