We now officially know he’s directing a movie in the area, and you have a chance to be in on it. He is, at least for now, going by the name “Wildcat”. It is about the life of famed writer Flannery O’Connor, said the film’s producer, Cary O’Reilly, and the film will be shot in Louisville and surrounding areas in January and February. The casting company has been posting invites for extras and casts for the past several days. Find them here. They are looking for all kinds of roles, such as pianist, contrast couple, etc. They are all offering paid services, and they are also looking for certain types of cars to use in the movie. From the 40-50s of the last century. “Wildcat” isn’t yet listed on IMDB, and it’s unclear who it’s starring in, though we do know that Hawke’s famous daughter, Maya Hawke, from Stranger Things, has been seen in Louisville as well. According to Angela Boehm Casting, the movie is, at least for now, called “Wildcat.” The film’s producer, Cary O’Reilly, said it is about the life of famous writer Flannery O’Connor.

Filming will take place in Louisville and surrounding areas in January and February. The casting company has been posting invites for extras and casts for the past several days. You can find it here.

Maybe she was just visiting, but maybe she’s working? We can’t say for sure yet.
